Ok my interview experience was very good, it was the very first company I sat in and I feel lucky that I got selected.
So the company is basically a sales and marketting consultancy but they offered one post for CSE , which is BTA (Buisness Technology Assosicate).
So wasting no more time the procedure comprised of 5 rounds before the final offer was made.
Around 500 candidates appeared for the exam!!
23 July'13
Round 1
(Online Apti)
Placement season has just commenced, we gathered in MCA lab for the online test. The very same apti test I have already given for Microsoft and Deloitte (day before), It was conducted by Aspiring Minds and the test is famously known as AMCAT, It comprised of 4 sections
1)Verbal Ability/Comprehension, 2)Logic and Reasoning , 3) Quant, 4)Attention to details.
The first three rounds were pretty familiar, what was interesting was the fourth round, was something new and interesting, overall paper was very easy, if one is preparing for cat , acing the paper was piece of cake.

54 were shortlisted for the further rounds.

Round 2
(GD)
So there was a gap of more than a week between the written and the other rounds, we were divided in group of 8's for the GD, we were given a rather simple topic to discuss upon, topics of GD were general, where factual knowledge was not that important compared to the soft skills, topic given to my group was "Online Vs Traditional Education System", I kept the strategy simple , keep my points and listen to others and eventually made to the next round.

Round 3
(Case Study)
About 35 were selected for this round
Now this was something new and interesting, based on the profile there were three seperate case studies, 8 people in BTA were shortlisted for the case study, we were made to sit in a room , wide apart, then were given a bundle of sheets comprising of real like situation involving lot of database , tables , data, etc.. Database here was related to a airlines, its customer etc, we were asked 4 questions related to DBMS in general and in particular with data given. we were given exactly half an hour to do this, it seemed tough at the beginning but finding the details was the key, we had to apply basic normalisation concepts, had to find inconsistency in data etc, we had to write our findings on a blank sheet of paper.

(Case Study interview/technical interview)
After this our sheets were collected and we were called one by one to explain what we wrote and understood, firstly they gave my sheet back and I was asked to explain what I wrote (Probably because of my poor handwriting :D), I explained exactly what I wrote then they cross questioned and asked me for improving it further. After an approx discussion of around 40 mins interviewer was convinced of what I wanted to explain. Then I was given a simple water jug problem to solve, which I solved very easily, I asked if there's something else I could solve, he said that would be it for the day, in the end he asked if I wanted to ask someting, I asked "Will this be a good evening for me?" , there was a smile on his face and he said "Yes".

around 13 made to this round
Round 4
(Behaviourial/Technical)
I was called in for the next round of interview, this interview was taken by the person from HR side rahter then technical, He seemed frinedly but got strict as soon as interview began. Behaviourial analysis of mine was done very smartly on the basis of sorting techniques, I was asked to write code for sorting (I chose merge sort, it was relatively tough to explain him , him being from HR side) and then were many tricky question on real life situtation, I was also aske to tell 5 things I deffered in past 7 days, I stumbled by my own free will and said only two. I was also asked about my achievements and same old tell me something about you in this interview.

11 made to this round.
Round 5
(Principal/HR round)
Now this round is as tough as easy it seems, the peculiar thing about HR round is that you can never know that is went good or not, I am pretty confident about my comm skills but you never know what the HR didn't like, this interview also started with "tell me something about yourself", and went on to joint family, vishakhapatnam etc, He seemed very friendly and was a great experience. This was more a kind of interaction of what I am and where I belong from, nothing from technical in this. That's it, Now was the time to wait for the results, I was happy that I made it till the end, Selected or not I decided to party hard, Heartbeats were never heard so loud...

And in the end all the 11 were selected including me. One of the most happiest day of my life, I had finally made it large...

Thank you so much for reading this, I hope you enjoyed.
